Tube filters for removing drainage water in the sludge fields of treatment facilities have found wide application in urban utilities.

The introduction of these filters at the Bortnicheskaya aeration station of OJSC AK "Kyivvodokanal" showed that their effectiveness is equivalent to the effect obtained when using expensive flocculants. Drainage pipe filters are used in dewatering systems during construction, reclamation, and emergency works (wellpoint).
